As seen on Jambands.com

On July 4th moe. will return to Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, NJ. Later that evening, at nearby Chico's House of Jazz, four musicians will take the stage together for the first time. Mike Gordon Band drummer Todd Isler, Matisyahu keyboard player Rob Marscher, Assembly of Dust bassist John Leccese, and guitarist BJ Willis will join forces for what is billed as “The Inseption of The Deets” (yes, there's some creative spelling of inception but that's the point, we think). The quartet will perform the music of “The Meters, Grant Green, Herbie Hancock and beyond.” The night also pledges that “Very Special Guests” will attend, with tickets priced at a very reasonable $10 and details at the Chico's site.

Westward...

AOD is hitting the road (sky) in late April for a string of shows on the West Coast. Stops will include The Mint in LA, McDowell Mtn. Music Festival in Scottsdale AZ, and Winstons in San Diego. Please check out the tour section for more details.

This run comes at the tail end of two of Reid's solo gigs in support of Keller Williams (guest on new album). Perhaps more guests can be expected in the near future? Stay tuned and rock steady!

On The Road Again...

After a great weekend down South, AOD will be gearing up for another Northeastern run. The band will also hit up a few West Coast dates in mid April for good measure! Stop by the message boards and tell us where else you would like to see AOD pop up in the near future.

On other fronts, Reid will be taking the stage with Keller Williams at both the Nokia Theatre in New York and the Pearl Street Nightclub in MA. These will be two special shows that should not be missed. And in case you haven't already, check out this video of Reid warming up to Etta James backstage on New Year's Eve.

Things to Come!

We hope everyone enjoyed the holidays because we certainly did! '08 was great and '09 shall be better! Thanks to everyone who came out and rocked with us. We will be hitting the road in mid February for a few nights with our good pals Milhouse in the Carolinas. There will be more dates to follow (think west coast)

We are also pleased to share with you that the new album is coming along beautifully. We have snagged a few guest musicians who you may have heard of before. Some dude who played Woodstock? A guy who's in a band that rhymes with dish? A living jazz legend? Kind of like a spot? Hmmm...Stay tune and rock steady!
